# Tools

Once connected, your agent picks the tools below on its own. You don't need to remember their
names. Just say something like "Make a note from this video."

## Read

| Tool | What it does |

| `list_projects` | Get your list of sources |
| `list_collections` | Get your list of folders |
| `get_project` | Get one source and the notes in it |
| `get_note` | Get a note's content |
| `get_transcript` | Get the script of an original |
| `list_highlights` | Get your list of highlights |
| `get_insight` | Get the insight for a highlight |
| `list_memos` | Get your list of memos |
| `get_memo` | Get one memo |
| `list_external_research_cards` | Get a note's external research cards |
| `get_external_research_card` | Get one external research card |
| `list_creations` | Get your list of creations |
| `get_creation` | Get one creation |
| `get_account` | Check your plan and credit balance |

## Write

| Tool | What it does |
| - | - |
| `create_note` | Save a link or file and make a note |
| `prepare_upload` | Get a file on your computer ready to upload |
| `save_project` | Rename, move or trash a source |
| `save_collection` | Create, rename, move or trash a folder |

If you didn't allow writing when you connected, the write tools won't show up.

## Files you can upload

Spreadsheet files can't be uploaded.
