# FAQ

> Find answers here when you can't connect or a note looks off.

> **It asks me to sign in again**
>
> The connection dropped or your sign-in expired. Reconnect Readray in your agent's connector
> settings.

> **The note keeps saying it's being written**
>
> That's normal. Long videos can take a few minutes, so please wait a little. Saving the same link again as a new source uses credits again. Asking again for the same note on an existing source returns the note you already have, with no credits used.

> **The note or script is cut off**
>
> Up to 40,000 characters are shown at a time. If it's longer, a link to the full content comes
> with it.

> **It says analysis failed**
>
> Members-only or private videos, pages that need a sign-in, and damaged files can't be analyzed.

> **It says I'm short on credits**
>
> Top up your credits, or change `model` to `free` and try again. Nothing was created and no
> credits were deducted. See [Credits](https://docs.lilys.ai/en/mcp-server/usage.md) for details.

> **It says there are too many requests**
>
> Wait for the time shown in the response, then try again.

> **It can't find a note I know exists**
>
> Check that you connected with the account that has that note.

> **I can't make notes**
>
> You may not have allowed writing when you connected. In Readray, go to **Settings → Connected
> apps**, disconnect, then reconnect with writing allowed.

> **Edits I made on the web don't show up**
>
> For now, it shows the note as it was first created.
